Picture Dump for This Week 5.4.20

Ronin is growing. We like to wear him out for Uncle.

:) We surprised Uncle Rod with a rockin' rendition of Happy Birthday and "Going to the Chapel" (social distanced) a song that Granny introduced them to that they just can't get enough of. Did you know that little girls dream about getting married and talk about getting married A LOT!

We had a drummer, a guitarist, and a vocalist.

Daddy calls her the "duck whisperer"

NorthRidge Church was given money from an estate of a dear saint who died within the last year. Peggy never married or had children. She was active in our church until the day she died at age 99. With the money from her estate, NorthRidge partnered with a local cafe in town to provide meals for the ENTIRE community for FREE, to anyone who wanted it! Not only did it give the community something to smile about, it gave revenue to the cafe during this time. My favorite part was seeing the line of cars down Main Street. Thanks for treating us Peggy!

"P" day in kindergarten

She would work 24/7 with her dad if it worked out.

The girls were gifted a bunch of nail polish from Iowa cousin Renee via cousin Louise. We have been putting it to good use practicing painting techniques. The big girls are constantly trying to think of ways to make  money (so much so that sometimes I wonder if they wouldn't sell me if I let them). :) They have plans to open up a nail salon and make-up boutique, sell various items in our house, sell produce in our garden, etc. I know they are in their underwear here...(nail polish isn't my favorite), but thought these were too cute not to share.

Communion on Sunday consisted of kool-aid and chicken-in-a-biskit crackers
I think the girls are going to remember these times forever.

We gave Ronin a bath. He wasn't a fan.

A weenie roast on a BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon.

Animal obsessed right now. I've decided DeeDee has to be the most patient dog that ever lived. When she knows Ellsy is around, she drops down and rolls over for a belly scratch. Every time. And Papa and Granny just got a new kitty today (pictures coming soon)

Dad says its nearing time for the ducks to leave. Did you know they poop every 5 minutes? It's nuts. Sweet C will miss them much. I am praying they survive on the pond OR are disposed of somewhere where the evidence is not found.

The big girls have been earning money picking dandelions and rocks for Granny and Papa. Ellsy's first purchase was make-up. They might need some more practice :)

I love little girls in rain coats and rain boots.

After being inspired by a book they read, these girls have decided to get fit and strong so they can be "champions!" I called this...sister strength training.
