Wouldn't be Christmas without...

Candy Cane Cookies.

I have probably ate one of these at Christmas each year of my life. At least I think so. I learned the year Clara was born that what I thought was a cookie passed down from my Great-Grandma, was really just some lady at the bank:) Rocked my world.

I try to make these last because they don't last long even hidden in my freezer. The goal is to have some on Christmas Day. Clara is very concerned about Uncle Troy getting to these. Her mom is concerned about Clara's dad getting to these. But really I'm wondering if the one we should be worried about is Uncle Tanner who arrives back in God's country on Monday. Woot! Woot!

She loves to create, bake, and eat the finished product.

Lulu gets in on the eating after nap. She is good with that.

The tradition continues...
