Big Brutus has been on Ben's mind for a LONG time. A wedding in Arkansas was a good excuse for the two to finally meet. Brutus rests in southeastern Kansas. "Big Brutus is the nickname of the Bucyrus-Erie model 1850B electric shovel, which was the second largest of its type in operation in the 1960s and 1970s."
He was like a kid in a candy store.
I had seen Brutus probably 15 years or so before...but I did forget how big it is.

We enjoyed the "Natural State" with a hike.
I'm just throwing this one in. The girls enjoyed their first Royals' game last week. They did AWESOME. Lasted the entire game in their seats. Huh? I'm still in awe. Good job girls!
