Ellsy got to go on her very first vacation this month. A weekend in Florida with Mom and Dad while big sister Clara stayed in Iowa with Nana and Papa. She beat Clara to her first airplane ride.
At the airport. She did awesome on the plane ride there. Slept like a…baby! Now that I've traveled with a baby on an airplane, I think changing planes, etc. isn't so bad. She did much better when we were able to have a little break in between versus on the way back where we had a non-stop flight.
We loved seeing her toes and legs again.
She didn't sleep well at night…at all. And she napped best outside. The sound of the ocean and the breeze were good for napping.
We didn't do much except enjoy the view. We let Ellsy nap in her stroller and sat by the pool.
Walking along the beach was my favorite part of the trip.
Our hotel was on the beach so it was easy to do.

It was rainy and windy one day…so we got a cabana, so Ellsy could nap. She woke up ready to play!
