VBS was the first week in June. Clara and Ellsy had loads of fun. I was the pack leader for Clara's group and Maryn got to stay with one of her favorite friends Watty.
Ellsy had been making birthday preparations for months.
The time had finally come to make her rainbow cake.
She enjoyed keeping her cake a secret.
Surprise! The original had six layers...I pleaded and bargained with her to make it three layers :)

After Ellsy's party, Daddy, Clara, and Ellsy camped out for the night on the trampoline. I didn't expect them to last all night, but they made it until six am.

Her breakfast request was "flat pancakes" with blueberries and whipped topping (the kind you squirt)

The original plan was a splash park party...but it ended up being low seventies on her birthday. Even so, a lot of the kids ended up in the water :)
