2017 Swinger Family Christmas Letter

Greetings Family & Friends!

It's time for the yearly Swinger family run down...

Ben has now been working at Menold Bros. for over a year. He has loved farming (every minute of it).  He is now in the older guy classification in his men's basketball league. :)

I (Jenna) continue fulfilling the communication duties at NorthRidge Church, going on six years almost. Staying at home and working part-time is a constant juggle, but I'm grateful to do both.

Clara is 5. She has a love for learning and will be ready for kindergarten next fall. She loves crafting, running, animals, her sisters, and singing. She is mama's right hand and I'm thankful for her helper attitude.

Ellsy is 3. She loves playing "mommies and daddies," riding her bike, watching Sheriff Callie on the TV, and doing puzzles. She keeps our house interesting and amusing. Don't cross her or you'll hear "Stop in the name of the law!!!"

Maryn is 9 months old. She is on the verge of crawling...I was hoping she would wait until after our Christmas tree is put away, but I don't think we are going to make it. She has been a great baby. Maryn has lots of fuzzy hair and a signature big smile. And just this week she popped out her first tooth!

2017 will go down as the "The Year We Had A Baby In Our Minivan." Hard to top that as the most memorable moment of our year. This is what I wrote in our letter last year "Benna baby girl #3 is set to arrive in early March...this baby is set to be a Wildcat...being delivered in Manhattan. Ben asks for prayers, he won't have to deliver a baby on the road." Apparently you people didn't take me seriously. :) We continue to thank God for a safe delivery and healthy baby... and a memorable story to share.

Merry Christmas!

Ben, Jenna, Clara, Ellsy, and Maryn Marie Swinger
