Thanksgiving

I find at Thanksgiving I can easily rattle off things I'm thankful for...my hard working husband, my healthy kids, a warm home, etc. But as tragedy hit my hometown this week, I have to tell you I am most thankful for hope in Jesus. That one day there will be no more sorrow and no more pain. That there is hope of reuniting with loved ones who have passed. And quite honestly, I pray that whoever looks at our blog (at this point I have no idea who does), that you would realize your need for a Savior and come to authentic faith if you haven't. Being a good person doesn't cut it. You need Jesus. You need hope.

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving week:

Clara made a packing checklist for our trip to Iowa.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

MM's first Thanksgiving. She enjoyed the mashed potatoes the most.

Yum!

It was a beautiful day!

Gathering things for their "collections."

If she is not a runner, I'll be shocked.

Making some apple turkeys.

Hike to the "cave"

Cousins are the best!

The kids went to Roy and Emily's on Saturday evening while we were at a wedding. I'm happy to report Maryn did great! I didn't tell them I was worried she would cry the whole time :) Thanks for giving us a kid-free evening!

We were happy to see GG when we got back!
