#3

The day is almost here…Clara has been telling everyone that her birthday is coming up for several weeks now. She is EXCITED and very concerned that I'm not going to get her cake just right:)

I decided to shoot some "3 year" pictures this week. I'm in a little bit of denial (or just can't comprehend) that Little Miss is turning three. 

Ben and I asked her some questions at supper last night:

Favorite animal: A cow that doesn't moo at her.

Color: Blue (she wants everything to be blue these days)

Favorite food: bread

Best Friend: Brielle

What do you want to be when you grow up?: She said she wants to work in Sabetha and be a cowgirl:)

Favorite sport: basketball

Favorite book: Minnie Mouse

Favorite show: Daniel Tiger

Favorite team: Bluejays (we took her to a football game recently and she LOVED it), we can't wait to take her again

What's the big deal mom? I'm just turning three.

At 3 years, Clara:

-no longer uses paci, she actually has been paci-free for awhile, she chewed the ends off and told us she could live without it:)

-sleeps with her blankie

-always wants paint on her toenails and fingernails

-loves to dance and twirl

-loves to sing (we are only able to listen to her music in the car)

-read through all the Curious George and Clifford's at the library twice

-asks "why" 100x a day

-only wants to wear dresses

-wants her ponytail "in the back"

-is working on being potty-trained (still does not poop in the potty)

-wants a bandaid for anything that ails her

-is very proud of her hair, introduces herself by asking if you want to touch her hair because its soft, blonde, and curly:)

-loves to be tickled

-loves to be massaged

-LOVES her daddy (I know she loves me, but daddy is the apple of her eye)

-is working on sharing and being kind to her sissy

-goes to Sunday School & Children's Church

-39.5" long (95%) & 28 lbs. (25%)

This past year, Clara has stretched us. The whole parenting business got real:) And thats great, because she is learning and so are we! We love our Clara Naomi! So here is to year #4!
