On June 10th, Little Luey turned 1! She slept through the night for the FIRST time that night and has since been sleeping through the night, so apparently she just needed to be one:)
The day was pretty normal. Daddy came home from work early for some family time.
The face of good rest. Hallelujah.
Egg McMuffin for breakfast.
No thanks mom.
Lots of playing.
Got measured.
Opened gifts.
Ellsy Lucille at 1:
-Never had a bottle (its true, we were close at all times:)
-is weaned! took to whole milk immediately
-can say "all done," "more," and "hi"
-already knows how to push Big Sis's buttons
-is sensitive to loud noises (like the noon whistle, etc.)
-gets hurt feelings when sis isn't nice to her or doesn't share
-is a mover and explorer, much more adventurous than sis was
-is into everything and wants to be where the action is
-30" long and 22 lbs., (75th % for both)
-doesn't like vegetables
-requires two people to change her diaper
This past year has been nuts. Let's just be honest. But here we are a year later and we all survived (with lots of stories to tell). A couple of weeks ago someone told me that Ellsy's eyes just sparkled. It's true. They do. Combine it with her contagious smile and bam, your heart just melted.
Look out world! Luey is 1!
