Clara: 2 years

At 2 years, Clara:
-says "funnies" (the other day she told me polar bears poop sometimes:) A couple of weeks ago, Ben and I were in the front seat of the car with the girls in the back. It was a rare stretch of quiet, then Clara said, "Ellsy's frustrated. Clara's nervous." At a library meeting last week (she wouldn't go with the provided childcare, so she was sitting with me at the meeting)...Someone's cell phone rang and she yelled "ANSWER THE PHONE DEE DEE!!!!!!!" (It's from one of her first words movies).
-sleeps in a toddler bed
-is always singing, her favorites are Jesus Loves Me, ABC's, Old MacDonald, Twinkle Twinkle, and a Sesame Street Song
-will tell Daddy to sing her a song
-always wants to "hold you" aka wants you to hold her
-says "oh goodness" when she is upset
-can't leave Ellsy alone, always has to be touching her or in her face
-tells Ellsy to "be patient"
-is big time Daddy's girl
-calls Daddy "Ben" sometimes much to Daddy's dislike
-continues to have paci and blankie for sleep times
-naps 1.5-2.5 hours in the afternoon most days
-finally leaves a ponytail in
-has CRAZY hair
- has a special love for her grandparents
-has started saying "To the rescue!!" & "That's amazing"
-tends to be on the dramatic side of things
-thinks burping and tooting are really funny
-is really getting into pretend (food, babies, etc.)
-has an excellent memory, doesn't forget things
-pats people on the back when she hugs them
-every morning, she tells us she has dreams…of puppies
-always wants to be a "helper"
