She started pooping during our photoshoot:)
Future Pioneer!
At 8 months, Clara...
-either sleeps on her back or her left side, never her right side (she has always done this)
-if she is not cranky when she is tired, she is giggling:)
-has become possessive of her blankie
-won't go to sleep without paci and blankie
-the blankie always goes over her face when she wants to sleep
-in true Swinger fashion, likes to swing
-will find her paci and put it in her mouth
-loves to be outside
-LOVES dogs
-has a favorite song: "Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah"
-loves getting sung to...some favorites are: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle, Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah, and Patty Cake
-wants what you have, especially if it is a watch, remote, or phone
-can pick up two things, one with each hand
-is making new sounds
-gives kisses (more like open mouth licks:)
-will go as far forward as she can without falling over trying to reach for stuff
-is practicing "crawling" with Daddy, but still is not very interested
-is practicing using a cup and just yesterday used her first sippy cup
-celebrated her Great-Grandpa Ells' 90th birthday
-went swimming in her bikini
-took her longest road trip
-made us laugh when she tried apricots for the first time
-is not too keen of strangers
-can stare you down
-gets lots of comments on her big blue eyes
-has started scrunching up her nose and breathing heavy through it...new discovery!
-scratches the carseat and her crib mattress (I think she likes the sound)
-went through some serious fussiness where nothing seemed to make her happy! Mom is ready for these teeth to just pop!
