Happy 6 Month Birthday Clara Naomi!
-is not swaddled anymore, sleeps in her big girl sleepsacks
-is learning to self-soothe & sleeping without paci and blankie
-loves her sunglasses, amazingly she keeps them on in the car and on walks
-will not stay on her tummy and has shown no interest in crawling
-is always rubbing her feet together (just like her Daddy)...because of this she is always losing her socks
-has started turning her head away from people who are trying to talk to her and is very good at ignoring
-is a big Mama's girl
-loves to wave her arms and smack her belly
-likes to be scared and thrilled (scares Mommy and Daddy a little her love for excitement)
-very right hand dominate
-will talk back in a conversation
-started cereal which she absolutely does not like, then went to an avocado which she didn't like any better at first...but now LOVES
-loves patty cake, will make her smile every time she hears "Patty Cake, Patty Cake"
-loves to watch and track Buddy
-chews fingers constantly
-pulls her socks off
-pulls herself up with help
-"ape" sits
-is going for lots of stroller rides with the warmer weather, is getting outside time finally!
-will giggle in anticipation of tickling
-prefers absolute darkness to sleep and will put her blankie over her eyes (which Mommy does not like)
-likes to "touch" the baby in the mirror
-likes to see how loud she can scream (its loud)
-has crazy hair
-has a slobber rash
-can clear a room with her gas:)
-weighed 15 lbs and was 25 1/4 inches at her 6 month appointment (both in the 25th percentile)
