2 Months

Clara turned 2 months old on 12/12/12. She started off the month pretty fussy. We went through the purple crying stage and have ended the month on a much better note. She is full of smiles and loves to interact with people. She especially loves to stare at her Daddy. It makes me smile. Ben will come home and will hold her. She gets quiet and just stares at him. She is in awe of her Daddy. Clara loves her swing, her pacifier, the stroller, Mr. Fan, and being naked. She is happiest when she doesn't have a diaper on:) The swing is a lifesaver for this mama. Some days I wouldn't get anything done without it. This month she went to her first basketball game, first wrestling meet, and made her first trip to Iowa. She met Cousin Hudson and Uncle Roy & Aunt Emily for the first time. She is a great traveler. Mama started working again, so she is a working baby:) It is nice that my mom works where I do:) Uncle Troy and Uncle Tanner seem to find their way home a lot more often than I thought they would...my opinion is that Baby Clara is a big reason why:) In month 2, the top half of the hair on her head fell out and she got a bad case of infant acne. Daddy calls her "Buzz" now because she looks like she has a buzz cut. She embarrassed Mama in Sunday School when she had a juicy and loud "BM." Clara has always been a great grunter!

1 month stats: 8 lbs, 12 oz. and 21.25" long

2 month stats: 11 lbs, 4.5 oz. and 22.25" long
