My brothers came home from college this weekend, so we spent most of the weekend doing things with family. Ben also helped Menold Brothers with harvest and cattle moving. We had a bigger family gathering on Sunday night to celebrate my Aunt Shannon's 40th Birthday. Family & Farm=2 of my favorite things. These are my FAVORITE weekends.
I kicked off the fall baking season with a country apple streusel cake.
Not my favorite but crossed it off my "recipes to try" list.
Dove season has officially begun.
And apparently squirrel too.
They wrapped the dove in bacon and then grilled them.
Counting down the days until they come home again. 10...
